The decree from the Campania Region arrived this morning, financing the regeneration project of the 'Ex Onmi' building on Viale Beneduce, in Caserta. The intervention, amounting to 700,000 euros, will be carried out thanks to the Poc 2014-2020 funds, Urban Regeneration and Cultural Policies Axis, provided by the Campania Region. The building will be completely recovered, thanks to a series of significant works, which will also include seismic adaptation. After obtaining the financing decree, the Municipality will proceed to complete the design phases, as required by the regulations, and then immediately move to the public tender procedure. 'The Ex Onmi - explained Mayor Carlo Marino - was in a state of total neglect: this Administration has strongly focused on the regeneration and reuse of this structure, which is located in the heart of our city. We want this building to be the home of associations, of all those realities engaged in the social and cultural field. Now we will complete the design phases, prepare the public tender procedure, and award the works. We expect the construction site to start by this summer.'
