At Trianon Viviani, Giorgio Montanini is in the spotlight with “There's Always Something to Drink”, Thursday, March 28, at 9 PM.

Following the great public success recorded by Vincenzo Comunale, Giorgia Fumo, and Daniele Tinti, the fourth appointment with the “stand-up comedy”, offered by the public theater of Forcella, sees the comedian and actor from Marche performing in his new monologue.

In “There's Always Something to Drink”, Montanini focuses on the theme of death, dear to satire, but not practiced in the stand-up comedy scene, to tell us, in a sharp way, the experience of a near-death that turns into a salvific rebirth. He does not spare topics such as war, violence against women, environmentalism, and animal rights. The production of the show is by Altra scena.

Stand-up comedian, author, and actor, Montanini made his theater debut with Oedipus Rex by Sophocles, in 2004, directed by Franco Branciaroli. In 2008, he became part of the Satiriasi group, the first Italian experiment in stand-up comedy which in 2014 achieved great public success on Comedy Central (Sky). He has participated in various television shows, including programs on Rai2 and Rai3. In cinema, he has been the protagonist of some films, like “Thank You, Guys”, directed by Riccardo Milani, “Mia”, with Edoardo Leo, and “Castelrotto”, directed by Damiano Giacomelli, and soon in the latest film by Valerio Mastandrea.
