The Highway Patrol relay provides aid to a family and manages to save an infant's life. A crew from the Highway Patrol of Avellino on duty on the RA02 Sa/Av Junction, was alerted by a desperate call for help from a young couple who reported carrying their six-month-old infant who was apparently lifeless. 

The patrol, immediately understanding the gravity of the situation, proceeded to escort the car carrying the young family to the “Moscati” hospital in Avellino, making their way through city traffic and simultaneously alerting the emergency room to expedite the rescue operations for the infant.

Thanks to the timely intervention of the operators, the family arrived at the hospital in a very short time and the police officers left the hospital only after receiving news from the medical staff that the little one, although still under observation, is not in danger of life.
