The International Street Food Festival will land in Airola at the end of August, marking the first 'sweet and slow' tourism event for the entire Caudina Valley. The event is scheduled from August 29 to September 1. In Piazza Caduti di Nassirya, the market square, food and wine stands from 4 nations and 14 Italian regions are expected. Among these, Campania will be represented by the best companies of wines, extra virgin olive oil, vegetables, meat, and preserves from the Caudina Valley supply chains, which will debut their brand-new 'Alta Qualità Caudina' label. The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Airola in collaboration with the Municipality as part of the MaratonArt project, aims to celebrate the 270th anniversary of the royal decree awarding the title of City to Airola. However, the goal of the event is to take this opportunity to showcase the gastronomic excellences of the entire Caudina Valley. Along with the International Street Food Festival, full-scale events will be organized: from walks, also by bicycle, along the spectacular trails of Taburno and Partenio, to visits to the valley's museums. Such as the National Museum of Montesarchio to admire the vase of Assteas, the Museum of the Telephone, the Museum of the Nativity Scene. There will also be meetings and tastings at the wineries with the opportunity to taste Caudine wines that are exported to as many as 27 countries around the world.
