As part of the training activities of the 225th course currently taking place at the Caserta School, the Lamborghini Urus adapted for police road services, including the urgent medical transport of organs and plasma, was presented to the police trainees. The presentation was attended by Prefect Giuseppe Castaldo, Chief of Police Andrea Grassi, provincial commanders of the Carabinieri Manuel Scarso and of the Guardia di Finanza Nicola Sportell, and the President of the Chamber of Commerce Tommaso De Simone. The commander of the Caserta road police, Ludovico Mitilini, in the presence of the School's director, illustrated the features and functionalities of the car. Designed with a livery that combines the classic "State Police Blue" with white and tricolor stripes on the sides, it is equipped with a "V8" twin-turbo engine with 666 horsepower, ensuring a maximum speed of 306 kilometers per hour and an acceleration from 0 to 100 in 3.3 seconds. The interior has been customized with essential elements for public safety service, including a secure drawer for weapons, a fold-down panel for graphic messages, and a special compartment in the trunk for the storage of standard equipment, a defibrillator, and most importantly, a portable refrigerator for organ transport.
