They had secluded themselves inside a van on Ancona street in Casal di Principe, where, with the cover of darkness and the dirt road, they believed they would not be discovered by the patrolling carabinieri during a control service. It was just after 11 pm last night when the military of the Arma reached a van with three people on board. At the sight of the carabinieri, the man sitting in the back seat hid something under the seat, arousing the military's suspicion. Following a personal and vehicle search, they found and seized, in the possession of the driver and the passenger, respectively 19 and 17 years old, a steel chain with a screwdriver at its end, a small bag with some doses of marijuana, a metal knuckleduster with a blade, and a switchblade knife. The rear passenger, a 45-year-old Nigerian already known to the law enforcement, was found in possession of a block of marijuana of about 50 grams. The three were taken to the station where the carabinieri, following immediate investigations that allowed the reconstruction of the drug dealing, proceeded to arrest the 45-year-old for possession with intent to distribute and to report the two young men, who will have to answer for carrying weapons or objects intended to offend. The Nigerian was taken to the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
