The works for the new Maddaloni interchange on the A30 Caserta-Salerno at the Km 4+100, enter their most important phase. Last week, the teams from Autostrade per l'Italia Group and Palumbo Heavy Lift launched the central section of the steel structure of the interchange overpass, weighing 170 tons, transported by two large, state-of-the-art trucks operated by specialized operators, assisted by two ground coordinators. The launch of the metallic bearing structure was completed on Friday morning, with the positioning of the two side sections weighing about 50 tons each. A strategic work for the territory, the Maddaloni interchange fits into the framework of enhancing and improving accessibility to the Marcianise-Maddaloni interport area, serving the Interporto Sud Europa and the external Neapolitan roads. Today, the progress of the works is at 60%, with about 35 workers engaged to date, and the ramps and toll plaza, the underpass serving local roads, and the structures of the buildings have been almost completed. The completion of the works is expected by the summer.
