Kicks and slaps to the cohabitant, a 50-year-old man from Altavilla Irpina was arrested who had already attacked the woman with a knife in December.

The local Carabinieri handcuffed him for family mistreatment and intentional personal injury.

Following a report to 112, the Operational Center of the Avellino Carabinieri Company arranged for a patrol to be sent to a house in Altavilla Irpina where a family dispute had been reported. The soldiers who arrived on the scene found the woman who had been attacked shortly before, with kicks and slaps from the cohabitant, a 50-year-old man already known to the police.

The unfortunate woman was treated by 118 health workers who found bruises and various abrasions on the woman's face and arms. The 50-year-old (already arrested last December, precisely, for similar events), by order of the judicial authority, was transferred to the Avellino prison.
