Yesterday, the officers of the Vicaria-Mercato police station, the military of the Carabinieri, the operators of the Guardia di Finanza, with the support of personnel from ASL Napoli 1 Centro and with the collaboration of the Campania crime prevention department, agents of the railway police department, and personnel of the metropolitan police, carried out an extraordinary territorial control service at Piazza Garibaldi, Piazza Mancini, Via Poerio, and Porta Nolana. During the operation, 210 individuals were identified, of which 4 were administratively sanctioned for possession of drugs for personal use and one was administratively sanctioned for smuggling foreign manufactured tobacco, 45 vehicles were checked, and one violation of the Highway Code was contested. In addition, 2 commercial activities were inspected, raising 2 administrative sanctions for a total of 10,000 euros and also seizing 12 kg of foodstuffs lacking traceability.
