The president of the Province of Benevento, Nino Lombardi presided over a meeting this morning on the Diffused Commercial Districts, already established by the Campania Region, in which only Municipalities that are part of the Sannita territory are included.

The discussion focused on the activities of the established Sanniti districts, their integration with other productive sectors (crafts, services and tourism) and the enhancement of all the resources available in the territory to increase its attractiveness, also by regenerating the urban fabric. The current situation of the economy and local society, the difficulties and prospects to identify possible measures and programs to be implemented, in the face of the profound differences and territorial and socio-economic diversifications existing in Campania between the coastal strip and the internal areas were discussed during the meeting: programs for the redevelopment of villages; support for productive activities; support for the same activities of the districts, especially for marketing policies.

At the end, the common will emerged to request the convening of a technical discussion table with the participation of the Campania Region and the same Diffused Commercial Districts to be held at the headquarters of the Province.

Present at the meeting were: the vice president of the Province Alfonso Ciervo, as provincial councilor delegated to commerce; the representatives of the Diffused Commercial Districts "Taburno", "Titerno", "Alto Sannio" and urban of "Benevento" (Ciervo, Raffaele Di Lonardo, mayor of Guardia Sanframondi, Giuseppe Addabbo, mayor of Molinara, Luigi Amborsone, councilor for Productive Activities of the capital city, and the coordinators Ignazio Catauro for "Taburno" and "Alto Sannio", Giovanna De Vita for "Titerno", Alessandro Verdicchio for "Benevento").
