On Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th May, in the prestigious setting of Castel Nuovo (Maschio Angioino) in Naples, the event 'Nu bbèllu ccafè' will take place. The event, sponsored by the City of Naples - which has established the city's day of Neapolitan coffee culture -, is promoted and supported by the Department of Tourism and Productive Activities and aims to enhance one of the greatest traditions of Naples and its cultural identity. The event, free and open to the public, will see the participation of coffee experts, important Italian roasters, owners of prestigious city cafés, espresso masters, personalities from the intellectual world and aims to be an extraordinary attraction of tourist interest. A stage, located in the main courtyard of the Maschio Angioino, will feature moments of cultural salon, interviews, social initiatives, book presentations, moments of art and entertainment, and interaction with the audience. Throughout the duration of the event, coffee will be offered for free to the city. Visitors will also be able to taste coffee in multiple versions, prepare it with a lever machine, guided by professional baristas, and participate in small courses on the secrets of real Neapolitan coffee. The complete program of the initiative, which also intends to strengthen the candidacy of the 'Rite of Neapolitan and Italian coffee' as UNESCO Intangible Heritage of Humanity, will be illustrated during a press conference.
