New appointment with «Photo Exhibition» in the spaces of Navarra Gallery, in the square of the Martyrs in Naples. The exhibition project, launched in January 2024 with the photography exhibition by Alessandro Staiano, aims to use the spaces of the venue to give visibility to the creatives and young artists of the territory, through a calendar of photographic exhibitions.

From Sunday, 25 February, and until 24 March, the works of Vincenzo d'Alessandro will be exhibited, who makes photography a constant in his life. The shots on display are taken from two projects of the artist: the first deals with the search for freedom through the allegory of the Elysium as a place without superstructures and destined for the most deserving souls according to Greek-Roman mythology; the other wants to be a journey into the interiority of the viewer who will have to deal with the reflections of his own personality.

I am excited and enthusiastic to live the experience of my first exhibition, having the opportunity to show my works in a context like that of Navarra Gallery is a unique opportunity, for which I thank the structure and those who work on the Photo Exhibition project. The projects that I will bring will be two: “De Speculo” which tries to describe how the perception of oneself and what surrounds us can vary from individual to individual through a game of interpretations; “Elysium” whose intent is to exalt expressive freedom by abandoning social constructs through the representation of the Elysian Fields from Roman and Greek mythology.

The new Navarra Gallery, at number 23 of Piazza dei Martiri, is Pizzeria and Restaurant, Cocktail Bar, Art Space and Garden. The creators of the new project are the entrepreneurs Franco Manna and Pippo Montella. The site regains its allure of the past and opens to the city with a hospitality project that sees together contemporary art, pizza, catering and mixology. A project that wants to be “a living room in the living room”, a meeting place, incubator of cultural and gastronomic initiatives, art garden and cocktail bar.
