A nightmare night in Rione Parco in Avellino due to a fire that affected a camper and three parked cars under the buildings of the public housing. The building was evacuated.

The Firefighters intervened in Leonardo Di Capua Street. The operational room of the provincial command sent two teams on the spot that extinguished the fire with no small difficulty and secured the area.

The building was evacuated during the rescue operations and significant damage was recorded to the first-floor dwelling. No injuries were reported. Investigations have been launched to understand the origin of the fire. The mayor Gianluca Festa was also on the scene.
