Once Upon a Time Nino Taranto, (The Man, The Story, The Legend): is the title of the show by actress, singer, and musician Alessia Moio, scheduled for Saturday, April 27 at 8:45 PM and Sunday, April 28 at 6:00 PM at the "Vittorio Mezzogiorno" Theater in Cercola.

Written by the artist herself with historical consulting by Giuseppe Giorgio, the musical show, highly appreciated by the "Nino Taranto" Foundation, is ready to lead the audience of the venue at Corso Domenico Riccardi, 355 into a passionate dimension entirely dedicated to the epic and work of the brilliant actor, singer, and author. Dividing between the man, the story, and the legend, and also traversing the aspects of a private life full of sacrifices, successes, and emotions, Alessia Moio, takes the audience by hand through an exciting path brimming with art and feelings.

An installation, inspired by the private and artistic life of the unforgettable "commendatore" of theater and Neapolitan song, sees the artist Moio, engaged with respectful humility in spreading, also from the stage, the work of one who became a sure lesson in theater and humanity. Desired by the protagonist Alessia Moio herself, always fascinated by the career of the great Taranto, the work intends to transform into a celebration divided between the past and the present for a character capable of writing his name in large letters in the history of entertainment, song, and poetry.

For the audience, the opportunity to retrace the more than sixty years of career of the brilliant artist and to relive, from the '20s to the '80s, the customs, habits, tastes, and passions of the Italians. Setting aside the regret for the human loss and making room for the memory of a personality still alive in the minds of all Neapolitans, the show "Once Upon a Time Nino Taranto", (The Man, The Story, The Legend) through sketches, stories, ballets, and songs like '"O mare 'e Margellina", '"O guappo nammurato", "Tarantella Scugnizza" and "Brinneso", becomes the due homage for a man who did so much for his Naples and who gave so much to an artistic world that still remembers and honors him today.
