Opposition deputies demand «an urgent briefing from the Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi».

«The minister must come to report immediately in the Chamber of Deputies on the aggression by the police forces against young people who were peacefully demonstrating in Naples against the Israeli-Palestinian war», the parliamentarians of the Pd, M5S and Avs requested.

«They just wanted to put a banner in front of the Rai headquarters and they were beaten», they observed, «the minister must answer for what happened».

«The balance for those who asked for justice for the Palestinian people, the end of the Israeli occupation, the ceasefire, the stop to the genocide and the war crimes of the Israeli Zionists, is many baton blows, with open heads and a lot of blood». This is what the former mayor of Naples, Luigi De Magistris, present at the clashes between police forces and young people demonstrating against the Israeli-Palestinian war in front of the Rai headquarters in Naples, has to say in a note.

«I was also there to protest against the political use of public television by the CEO Roberto Sergio who aligns the Italian public radio and television in favor of the State of Israel distancing himself from the singer Ghali who had dared to talk about genocide», the former mayor added. «Everyone must take a stand: either with the oppressed or with the oppressors. I will always be on the same side of history: for free Palestine until victory», de Magistris concluded.
