Workers of Pro&Ng are holding a protest in Pomigliano d'Arco (Naples), protesting against the «lack of clarity» regarding their employment future and the failure of the company, which specializes in communication plant design, to pay their salaries.

«In the next few hours - announced Anastasio Nespolino, provincial secretary of Uilm Campania - we will request a paid assembly and a meeting with the Union of Industrialists of Naples. This morning, during the protest, the workers received their paychecks, but there is still no trace of the payments. And while the workers were on strike, the company organized a sort of assembly with a union that is not even of the category, to explain to the employees a solidarity contract that has yet to be approved».

Nespolino also announced that he had requested a meeting with the company's top management, which was supposed to take place this morning but has been postponed to March 18.

«The situation is paradoxical due to the methods of dialogue that the managers of this company are adopting - he said - everyone can go through moments of difficulty, but there are many ways to face them. The difficulties of this dispute have already cost several days of strike, but after bringing the workers' discomfort to the public, we will now involve the institutions».
