A team of Firefighters from Caserta intervened in the abandoned "Statuto" quarry on mount Tifata, in the municipality of San Prisco, to rescue a lost hiker. The man, who was on a motorcycle excursion with some friends, had strayed from the group and had not returned. Alarmed, his companions called for help. Upon arrival, the Firefighters began searching for the missing person, locating him shortly after inside the quarry with several injuries due to a fall. After stabilizing him along with the 118 personnel, the man, about 50 years old, was transported to the hospital in Caserta for the necessary examinations and treatments.
