Yesterday afternoon, the agents of the General Prevention and Public Assistance Office, during a territorial control service, following a note received by the local Operational Room, intervened in the Capuana Gate area for a robbery report.

The policemen, who promptly arrived on the spot, were approached by a man who, pointing to a person not far away, told them that the same person, while he was paying for a metro ticket, had stolen money from him, injuring his hand and subsequently hit him in the face.

Therefore, the operators reached and blocked the suspect not far away on Cesare Rosaroll street and, after identifying him as a 40-year-old from Mauritania, irregular on the national territory and with police records, even specific ones, they arrested him for robbery.
