"The great opportunity of the PNRR risks being weakened because, in the reprogramming, even with the coverage of other funds as Minister Fitto has always promised, there has been a slowdown. At the moment, many works in the city and province of Salerno, as well as in municipalities all over Italy, have been defunded pending other coverages," said the president of Ance, Federica Brancaccio, speaking this morning at the conference "The implementation of the PNRR: turning point 2024-2026," organized by Ance Salerno. "This," she explained, "has caused a block also in many tenders and contracts that were about to be announced due to the fear, rightly, of entities being called upon to cover with their own funds, which they obviously do not have. Moreover, the reprogramming has moved forward by about 11 billion some installments. We fear this could represent a financial criticality. Our companies are already starting to report that payments are delayed."
