On Monday, March 18th at 5 PM, at the State Archives of Naples, the concert season of "The Virtuosi di Sansevero" continues with an extraordinary concert by the string quintet of "The Virtuosi di Sansevero", an ensemble conceived by Riccardo Zamuner, dedicated to Clara Wieck-Schumann and her husband Robert Schumann. Presented by the F. M. Napolitano Foundation and included in the series "The Concerts of the Virtuosi di Sansevero" within its own 2024 season, the concert will be entirely dedicated to pieces by the Schumann spouses performed by internationally renowned artists: in addition to the violin of the artistic director of the series Riccardo Zamuner, Ivos Margoni (second violin), Francesco Fiore (viola), Danilo Squitieri (cello) and Yevheniya Lysohor (piano) will perform. The concert will open with the performance of the evocative romances for viola and piano by Clara Wieck – Schumann Op. 22, then continue with the Fantasiestucke op.73 for cello and piano and conclude with the famous quintet Op. 44 by Robert Schumann. The concert season of "The Virtuosi di Sansevero" will continue with other appointments in prestigious art sites in Naples including the Court Theater of the Royal Palace, the Chapel of the Treasure of San Gennaro, the Pio Monte della Misericordia, and the Circolo Artistico Politecnico, featuring the participation of internationally renowned soloists who will join the young "Virtuosi".
