Appia, closer to saying goodbye to traffic lights at the junction for Castelpoto. The mayor Clemente Mastella and the public works councilor Mario Pasquariello have indeed announced that on Monday, February 5th, the construction of the roundabout on State Road 7, at the height of the junction with Provincial Road 150, will begin.

"On January 15th - the mayor and the councilor recall - we had approved in the council the executive project drawn up by Ente Autonomo Volturno, with which we signed a special agreement ten days later. The intervention will be carried out entirely at the expense of Eav, under the supervision of the municipal technical office". The project involves the construction of a roundabout, in the Pontecorvo district, which will help to decongest vehicular traffic and reduce travel times, for motorists and public transport, on a road section crucial to ensure the connection with Valle Caudina and the axis leading to Caserta and Naples.

A connection that has become literally indispensable since the circulation on the Benevento-Naples railway line is interrupted, so it is also traveled by the buses that provide the replacement service on behalf of Eav and those of all other operators.
