Michele Salerno, the young 23-year-old from Sturno, who was severely burned due to a gas cylinder explosion in his home, has passed away at the Cardarelli Hospital in Naples. Ten days of agony, during which Irpinia hoped that the boy's condition could improve. The explosion occurred last March 17, in a house in the center of Sturno. It was the neighbors who alerted the rescuers. The 23-year-old suffered severe burns over much of his body. Today, unfortunately, his heart has stopped beating.
