An old school and an improvised shooting range in the basement. That's what the Carabinieri of the Torre Annunziata company found during a territorial control service in the 'Penniniello' district of Torre Annunziata. On the walls, dozens of bullet holes, a place where local criminals presumably tested their weapons. In a larger room, handcrafted among the perforated bricks, 40 blank ammunition. The military searched the entire district and, in the abandoned school, they also found 200 grams of marijuana, 4 precision scales and material for packaging doses. During the checks, there were several traffic violations: 3 driving licenses were withdrawn, one vehicle was seized. A 17-year-old was reported for receiving stolen goods: he was stopped on the street riding an electric bike that was the result of a theft. The balance also includes work on the consciences of the youngest. Still in a school, not abandoned but in full activity and full of life. The Carabinieri of Oplonti talked about their work, promoting the importance of the culture of legality. Instilling sound principles in young people generates responsibility and awareness of the consequences of their actions. Using practical examples, the military offered students a guide to understand the role of rules in social coexistence and how to deal with the web and its pitfalls with greater serenity.
