The Civil Protection of the Campania Region, taking into account the assessments made by the Functional Center, has extended the weather alert of Yellow level for a further 24 hours, that is, until 20 tomorrow, Sunday February 25.

The disturbance will continue to insist on our region with rains and storms. Further precipitations are expected, even of an intense downpour.

Attention should be paid to the hydrogeological risk: among the main consequences of excessive rainfall are possible floods, raising of hydrometric levels of watercourses, water in the streets, runoff with material transport, falling of boulders and landslides, even in the absence of new precipitations.

The Civil Protection also reminds the Municipalities to keep the COC (Municipal Operational Centers) active and to activate all necessary measures to prevent, combat and mitigate the expected phenomena, in line with the respective municipal civil protection plans, and to pay attention to the communications of the Regional Operating Room.
