This morning, a demonstration marched through the streets of the Liberty District, to say no to the mafia and all forms of violence.
Guided by Libera and accompanied by the young people of the Catholic Action of the Parish SS Addolorata and the Scout Group BN 2, many participants marched giving voice to a cry of hope and change.
«Peace is not only an aspiration - the demonstrators said - but an active and tangible commitment».
The march also aimed to remember Esther Johnson, a victim of street slavery, brutally murdered in Benevento in 2016. And to courageously denounce current challenges, such as usury, racketeering, illegal gambling and against the continuous production of weapons.
